It was scary and I'm not afraid of heights. My stomach was in knots. It was in knots for the rest of the day - not kidding!

It was just such a weird (read as 'wrong') experience to be in midair with no walls. You know, non-see-through walls! I looked down - big no-no. I looked up - that was bad, too! Sideways made my head spin - this is NOT the same as looking out a window, guys! Not at all!!

Boy, I'm so glad I did it, though - gotta thank my Aunt for this one.

This is amazing. At first I thought it had to be a trick photo of some kind but I just saw your comment. Wow! Great picture!

Jennifer Oberth said...

Oh no, Lucy the Cat. No tricks here! I'm really hovering over Downtown Chicago. Seeing the tops of buildings - looking DOWN on skyscrapers with seemingly nothing around me!

Lovely! Did it make you want to jump?

I remember standing on such a platform in a Japan tower and it was such a scary feeling! Great photo!

Chatty Crone said...

Please don't jump! lol

Great pic. I remember being there.

You did it!!! Congratulations! :)
No Fear!

Jennifer Oberth said...

No jumping! No thoughts of jumping entered my head at all. All thoughts were geared toward not falling and even a quick one or two passing zips of, 'Why am I not falling right now?'

Ooooh, my stomach is in knots just thinking about it again!

Lots of fun!!

WOW! Totally cool! I love heights and that is ultimate. However, I hate enclosed spaces and the elevator ride to the top is killer.

Jennifer Oberth said...

Katnip Lounge - you're too funny! If it's not one thing it's another, right? Actually, the elevator ride was pretty cool. They had a screen and showed what floor we were on and what structure (from around the world) we were now as high as. It took 60 seconds to ride to the top.

WOW! That looks scary! I don't think I could do it and have to give you major, MAJOR props for having the guts to do it!

It's very nice of you to say I had the guts to do it when it's so obvious that fear is coursing through my veins as you can see by my face!!!!
