Wordless Wednesday - Filming with Sophie Aldred

Wow, how cool, you're famous!!!

Wow, whatcha doing? And who's Sophie Aldred?

Live Out Loud said...

Yup to Brian and read on Au and Target!

I've seen posters explain their Wordless Wednesday pics in their own comments and I'm totally down with that - not cheating at all!

We (some members of 'Thriller Theater', a few in the photos here) filmed a couple of scenes with Sophie Aldred, of 'Doctor Who' fame, in Wisconsin.

Sophie played Ace against Sylvester McCoy's Seventh Doctor.

It was a blast! We had so much fun, Sophie, too.

She was jetlagged because she'd flown into Chicago and drove to Wisconsin to do the MadCon Convention.

We filmed a couple scenes for our production (due out in 2011) before the Con began. She was so gracious and professional.

Hi Jen!

Wow.Looks like so much fun!!! Yay! How cool is that?! I mean Dr. Who is pretty much the awesome-est!

What exactly is a wordless wednesday?

Dana Cheryl said...

OK so I saw that you're on twitter so I went on over and followed ya because, well, twitter is insanely awesome.

While there I saw a Josh Gates tweet on your page. Woo hoo!!! MONSTER QUEST! Girl, we were meant to be friends!!! :)

How fun! Can I join, I would be willing to start with bit parts!

I am a big fan of Dr. Who but only really started watching with the ninth Dr., Chris Eccleston forward. I love David Tennant and am equally charmed by Matt Smith.

Have you thought of coming for ComicCon in San Diego?

I'm not actually on 'Doctor Who' - I just filmed with Sophie Aldred who played ON 'Doctor Who' years ago. Way back when...That show is actually why I wanted to become an actor but I have crippling stage fright. Oh, well.

And while I'll be in the same production with Sophie, I didn't actually get to act with her. Nick did and he was great!

If 'Thriller Theater' takes off - who knows? Maybe we would be invited to Cons!! We're trying to get it done by early 2011 so we can submit it to film festivals in the spring...Fingers crossed!

I'm on IMDB by the way - whoo hoo! But I haven't had the chance to make a page so I'll post on my Blog when I do.

I've got a lot going on - I'm going to be ready to publish my first short story in about a month or so and I'll post the link/s on my Blog, too!

Oh, and Wordless Wednesday is a chain or link or meme in which people post a picture or pictures on Wednesday with no words - just the title.

It's a lot of fun. The original Blog stopped doing it so I never linked to them but I think they're up and running again.

It's so cool when you go around the Wordless Wednesday Blogs and see the variety and scope of pictures. Follow some of my Wordless Wednesday links and you'll see the others...Very cool.

Oh - Dana Cheryl - I LOVE Josh Gates! He's hosting the 'Live Ghost Hunters' this Halloween!

I adore Josh Gates' sense of humor. It's the same as my own family's!

I think I missed the whole Sylvester McCoy Doctor, I never really got over Peter Davidson leaving *sigh* although I do watch it again now.

Good luck with the rest of the shoot, and thanks for stopping by :)
